ABOUT ART ON PAPER AMSTERDAM

Since 2018, Art on Paper Amsterdam has been the leading Dutch art fair for contemporary art on, made of, or with paper. Since 2024, the “Classical and Modern” section, featuring renowned art dealers, has been part of the fair.

International
Art on Paper is an international event: approximately 60% of participants are from the Netherlands and 40% from abroad. The upcoming edition will feature galleries from Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Japan, among others.

 Paper
Work on or with paper, whether pencil, charcoal, pen and ink, watercolor, gouache, or collage, showcases the artist in their most spontaneous and artistically free moment. The directness associated with this medium brings artist and viewer very close together. In their intimacy and vulnerability, works on or with paper thrive in the exclusive attention they receive at this specialized art fair.

 Collecting
Art on or with paper not only has a unique artistic character but is often accessible and attractive in terms of format and price. Budding art lovers might make one of their first art purchases here.
